To wait – attendre
Nous attendons – we wait
Nous attendons – we wait because we are not yet ready to forge through. Our great, big, incredible God is teaching, moulding and directing us to ensure that we have everything we need for the journey He has planned for us.
Nous attendons – we wait because sometimes we don’t get it straight away.
Nous attendons – we wait because we need to experience the very thing we will be resolving one day for someone else – be it healing, building houses, feeding, clothing or loving etcetera.
Nous attendons – we wait because God’s timing is perfect and He is gracious despite us and our impatience.
Nous attendons – we wait because God also requires us to build faith for what we are waiting for – He needs us strong, He needs us determined and He needs us to have an unfaltering resolve to do that which He has called us to.
Once we have waited and trusted – He will release the breakthrough and more than ever – then we will understand why we needed attendre – to wait.
In His time all things will be as they should – don’t rush it, don’t force it and most importantly don’t try and make it happen your way… that never works out.
Trust that your waiting time is meant for preparation, moulding, strengthening and overcoming.
But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.
