Lesson 8: Save a life…speak life

Reach high, for stars lie hidden in your soul. Dream deep, for every dream precedes the goal.
Pamela Vaull Starr

If any of you are feeling like it is not going the way you envisioned (something like at various times in my life), that things are looking decidedly wrong instead of right. Stop yourself from saying the negative things and force the opposite out of that powerful weapons of yours, the mouth.

God says in His word that we can move mountains with our faith and that the power of death and life lies within our tongues Proverbs 18 verse 12.

It is by faith and the declaration of our words, our mouths, that we have the strength and the ability to move forward. It is by staying focused on the right things that we can keep our joy – because the joy of the Lord is our strength Nehemiah 8 verse 10 – if you lose your joy it becomes so much harder to have faith and to speak life and to live victoriously.

I speak from experience – person pending – hanging in there and focusing on what is good, speaking life to the point of being labelled delusional. Just wanted to encourage anyone out there who may be feeling this way…there is hope, there is light at the end of the tunnel. Don’t give up…

Life is a succession of lessons which must be lived to be understood.

    1. Hey B – we could all learn from each other’s journey – would love to see your life learning on paper. I know you are a busy woman but am really looking forward to the rest of that book! Thanks for stopping by and reading,so appreciate your support.

  1. Really enjoyed this post Michelle as I’m becoming increasingly aware of speaking life as opposed to death -what a challenge!! It’s so funny. I have to consciously verbalise God’s truth (whatever is applicable in the moment), cause if I don’t and just try to suppress the useless words of death…they just run randomly around in my head searching feverishly to squeeze their way out of my mouth!! Such a nuisance. So Proverbs 18:12 is my scripture at the moment 🙂 Love and hugs!

    1. And in the end it is our choice – to learn or to ignore…so true! Thank you for popping by too. Love your blog – hopefully we can meet at the bookshop in Valbonne someday soon….
